My new lens

On my previous post I mentioned that I was thinking of purchasing a Rokinon 85mm f/1.4. Well I went to B&H today during my lunch hour and got myself a Nikkor 24-85 f/2.8-4 instead! I can’t wait to test it. I was also looking at the Nikkor 85mm f/1.8 which I’ve read good reviews about it but my purpose is to take pictures of son’s basketball game and my 1 ½ year old daughter. The sales rep made a good point that since it’s only one length, I’ll be the one moving forward or backward to zoom. Haha! He mentioned that the 85mm are good for portraits, but they’re also good in sports.
